एउटा केटो गाउँ नजिकै भेडाहरू चराउथ्यो। एक दिन उसलाई धेरै बोर लाग्यो र एउटा ठट्टा गर्ने सोच्यो।

A boy used to graze sheep near a village. One day he felt very bored and thought of playing a prank.

उसले कराएर भन्यो, 'ब्वाँसो आयो! ब्वाँसो आयो!' गाउँलेहरू उसलाई मद्दत गर्न आए, तर त्यहाँ कुनै ब्वाँसो थिएन।

He shouted, 'Wolf! Wolf!' The villagers came to help him, but there was no wolf.

केही दिनपछि साँच्चै ब्वाँसो आयो। केटोले चिच्याउँदै गुहार माग्यो, तर कसैले पनि उसको विश्वास गरेनन्।

A few days later, a wolf actually came. The boy screamed for help, but nobody believed him.

ब्वाँसोले धेरै भेडाहरू मारिदियो। केटो धेरै रोयो र आफ्नो गल्ती महसुस गर्यो।

The wolf killed many sheep. The boy cried a lot and realized his mistake.
