Introduction

भक्तपुरको एउटा गल्लीमा बुढो काका माटोका भाँडाहरू बनाउनुहुन्थ्यो। उहाँको हात जादुमयी थियो।

In an alley of Bhaktapur, an old man was making clay pots. His hands were magical.

उसको नाति, आर्यन, हतारमा भाँडा बनाउन खोज्थ्यो। तर उसको माटो सधैं बिग्रिन्थ्यो।

His grandson, Aryan, tried to make pots in a hurry. But his clay always got ruined.

हजुरबुबाले भन्नुभयो, 'बाबु, माटोलाई माया र धैर्य चाहिन्छ। हतारले काम बिग्रन्छ।'

Grandfather said, 'Son, clay needs love and patience. Haste makes waste.'

आर्यनले बिस्तारै काम गर्न सिक्यो। केही समयपछि उसले एउटा सुन्दर घडा बनायो।

Aryan learned to work slowly. After some time, he made a beautiful pitcher.
