The Two Cats and the Monkey

Two cats quarreling over bread learn that disputes only benefit the mediator.
Two cats found a piece of bread. They could not divide it equally and started fighting.
A monkey came and said, 'I will help you.' The monkey broke the bread into two pieces.
One piece was bigger. The monkey ate a bit from the bigger piece. Now the other piece was bigger. The monkey ate from that one too.
This way, the monkey ate all the bread. Both cats went hungry. When two people fight, a third person benefits.
