बुढो वरको रुख
The village Banyan tree shares its wisdom with the children playing under its shade.
गाउँको बिचमा एउटा ठूलो वरको रुख थियो। यो सय वर्ष पुरानो थियो।
In the middle of the village stood a big Banyan tree. It was a hundred years old.
बच्चाहरू यसको छहारीमा खेल्थे। रुखले उनीहरूलाई पुराना दिनका कथाहरू सुनाउँथ्यो।
Children played in its shade. The tree told them stories of the old days.
यसले भन्यो, 'मैले धेरै पुस्ताहरू देखेको छु। मानिसहरू आउँछन् र जान्छन्, तर राम्रो काम सधैं रहन्छ।'
It said, 'I have seen many generations. People come and go, but good deeds remain forever.'
बच्चाहरूले रुखलाई आदर गर्न सिके।
The children learned to respect the tree.
