वर्षायाममा कमिलाहरू खाना जम्मा गर्न कडा परिश्रम गरिरहेका थिए। तर फट्याङ्ग्राले दिनभर गीत गाएर समय बिताउँथ्यो।
In summer, the ants were working hard to collect food. But the grasshopper spent all day singing songs.
फट्याङ्ग्राले कमिलालाई भन्यो, 'यति धेरै काम किन गर्छौ? आऊ हामी नाचौं गाऔं!' कमिलाले मानेनन्।
The grasshopper told the ants, 'Why work so hard? Come, let's dance and sing!' The ants did not agree.
जब हिउँद आयो, फट्याङ्ग्रासँग केही पनि खाने कुरा थिएन। ऊ भोको भयो। तर कमिलाहरूसँग पर्याप्त खाना थियो।
When winter came, the grasshopper had nothing to eat. He became hungry. But the ants had plenty of food.
फट्याङ्ग्राले आफ्नो गल्ती बुझ्यो तर ढिलो भइसकेको थियो। समयमा काम गर्नु धेरै महत्त्वपूर्ण छ।
The grasshopper understood his mistake, but it was too late. Working on time is very important.
