Learn Days, Months & Seasons Through Writing

Knowing how to write the days of the week and months of the year is essential for everyday communication. Our Days & Months Tracing Generator lets you create bilingual practice sheets covering Nepali days (आइतबार to शनिबार), Bikram Sambat months (बैशाख to चैत), Gregorian months, and all six Nepali seasons.

Step 1: Pick a Category

Choose "Days (Nepali)" for the 7-day week or "Nepali Months (BS)" for all 12 Bikram Sambat months.

Step 2: Go Bilingual

Print both Nepali and English versions. Practice them on alternate days for bilingual fluency.

Step 3: Daily Routine

Ask your child to write today's day and month each morning as a warm-up exercise.

Nepali Calendar at a Glance

Nepal uses the Bikram Sambat (बिक्रम संवत) calendar as its official calendar. Unlike the Gregorian calendar, the Nepali new year starts in mid-April with the month of Baisakh (बैशाख). Learning to write these month names gives children cultural awareness alongside handwriting practice.

The Six Nepali Seasons

Nepal recognizes six distinct seasons, each spanning two months of the Bikram Sambat calendar. Writing the season names helps children connect language learning with the natural environment around them.
